To find out more and help this amazing team of people,
In all the years I've been walking in this beautiful part of the world, I have fortunately never had to call on their help. The closest I came was getting one leg stuck in a bog up to my hip while the other leg remained on the surface. Fortunately my companion managed to extract me from the muddy quagmire and other than feeling a complete idiot and being covered in thick sludge with a very squelchy boot, I managed to make my way back down. But, it only takes a simple accident, a slip or a fall and then thank goodness this wonderful team are there to help. Others go hiking totally unprepared and get into a right mess, but the team are still them for them. It's a good job WMRT have more sympathy in that situation than I would.
I'm in the process of producing 100 mounted prints of two drawings, for them to put on their website and sell at the various county fairs they attend during the summer months to raise awareness and funds. It's just my way of saying 'thanks for being there'.
